In the research project Science for life? we want to learn more about students´and teachers' experiences when they are working with socio- scientific issues in science in lower secondary school. The research group - SISC (Science in Social Contexts) - consists of Britt Lindahl and Maria Rosberg, Kristianstad Universiy, Margareta Ekborg, Malin Ideland, Claes Malmberg and Agneta Rehn, Malmö University and Christina Ottander, Mikael Winberg and Eva Nyström, Umeå University. Britt Lindahl and Margareta Ekborg are project leaders. The project is funded by Swedish Research Council, started in 2007 and will come to an end in 2011.
